Member of the Sovereign Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, head of the Revolutionary Front, discussed with the British Ambassador to Khartoum Jays Lever the convergence of views between the Sudanese parties.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, in addition to developments in the country’s political scene, and efforts to bring the views of the Sudanese parties closer, to reach the desired stage of democratic transformation.
Idris described the meeting as fruitful and positive, touching on the common vision on political consensus between the Sudanese parties, and the formation of the institutions of the transitional period as soon as possible.
For his part, the British ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness on the stability of Sudan, achieving development and supporting the democratic transformation process, in a way that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
