Khartoum 9-21-2022 (SUNA) – The National Council for Urban Defense stated that the cumulative statistics from the beginning of the autumn season until today showed that the number of deaths reached (146) and injuries (122).
The National Council for Civil Defense said that the highest death rate in North Kordofan reached (30) deaths, (50) the highest percentage of injuries in South Kordofan State, (10354) the highest percentage of total house collapse in White Nile State, (10142) the highest percentage of partial house collapse in Gezira State, (90) the highest percentage of facilities collapse in the northern state and (153) the highest percentage of stores and warehouse collapses in West Darfur.
The Civil Defense Council indicated that the number of damaged facilities in the states is as follows: an educational sector (254), a health sector (25), a service sector (28), mosques (51) and others (9). (84), electric shock, (6) injuries, and one scorpion sting.
The Civil Defense confirmed the continuation of efforts to follow up the levels of the Nile, in addition to the heightening of bridges in areas of fragility and water drainage, and the continuation of monitoring by the Nile anchor points.
