Kassala 9-21-2022 (SUNA) – The Animal Health and Epidemiology Control Department at the General Administration of Livestock, Fisheries and Pastures in Kassala State organized today at the Police Hall a seminar entitled “Map of Diseases”, which comes within the activities of the epidemiological survey project for supporting livelihoods and smallholders, funded by the European Union.
During the seminar, a map worksheet was presented explaining in detail and a full explanation of the steps of creating an atlas on which all the data and information related to the disease for which a disease map is to be made and clarifying the most prevalent disease with clarification of all information related to the disease.
Dr. Hajar Suleiman, Acting Director of Animal Health and Epidemiology, indicated that the project targets animal health activities, such as rehabilitation of veterinary cadres and rehabilitation of the infrastructure of control points and diagnostic units, in addition to full coordination with the veterinary research laboratory and the veterinary quarantine in Kassala because they represent the two sides of the triangle with the Animal Health Department in improving Upgrading the work environment…
