New York 09-22-2022 (SUNA) – The high-level debate activities of the United Nations General Assembly continue for the third day with the participation of the Sudanese delegation headed by Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
According to the agenda of the seventy-seventh session, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council will present Sudan’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly in the first session, country No. (12), in the order of countries among the 34 countries scheduled for this day.
The activities of the high-level discussion of the United Nations General Assembly began on the twentieth of this September with an opening speech by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Anthony Guterres, in which he focused on consolidating and respecting the foundations of international law regulating the work of the United Nations and the Security Council.
The General Assembly of the United Nations represents an opportunity for heads of state and government to meet at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, hold meetings and discuss various issues of concern to the whole world.
