Where is this country and its people headed?
* A question that every tongue wakes up and sleeps in, as the crisis continues and intensifies on the necks of the homeland and its citizens, and with the arrival of political and social polarization in Sudan to a critical and dangerous limit that has exceeded the sanctity of blood, and the country’s horizon is saturated with ominous omens, and the country is living in a tragic and suffocating predicament that will push it, and very soon, Because it explodes or explodes if the matter is not addressed and addressed quickly.
* I will not enumerate the manifestations of this predicament, for everyone lives it in his flesh and bone, and its details have been killed in research, writing and photography. However, what I can say here, and it is a saying that we have repeated many times and will continue to repeat, is that in light of the expansion of the coup of the twenty-fifth of October and opening the way for the return of the elements of the former regime, and in light of the human rights violations that Sudan is suffering from today, and the cases of impunity from accountability and punishment And the disregard for the justice and the rule of law, and in light of the fact that weapons have spread outside the regular forces, and that the country, specifically the capital, has become a barracks for several armies and militias that follow the orders of their conflicting political leaders, and attack the police tasks without deterrence and without a responsible and declared rejecting position from the leaders of the regular forces, and in light of The emergence of calls for self-determination in conflict areas, and in light of the suffering of the Sudanese citizen from poverty, widespread famine, and the lack of basic and essential services for life, and in light of the continuation of the deafening dialogue prevailing today in the country, and its tightening grip on the political relations between the political, civil and military components that seek to lead the transitional period, And in light of the continuing bleeding of minds and arms from the country, which paralyzes the growth and expansion of the modern forces in society, which are supposed to build the future, and in light of the urbanization of the city that was destroyed With its luster as a center of cultural and political radiation, and in light of the manifestation of a new form of alienation and alienation not only towards state institutions, but towards the Sudanese entity itself, and with the exhaustion of civil society institutions, including parties, and the loss of confidence in them, the citizen retreats to the tribe and clan in search of security And security, and what this carries in its folds of the cracking and fragmentation of this entity, and in light of the consolidation of the discourse of exclusion and treason between the political forces, which still differ in everything, which creates the impression among the citizen that the criterion of these differences is the narrow partisan interest and not the interest of the country or the interest Implementation of the tasks of the transitional period, in light of all these and other facts, the expected disaster and the imminent danger will not only affect the transitional period, but the entire country. No follower will need much trouble, but perhaps some courage, to say that there are forces, inside and outside Sudan, some of which work consciously and planning, and others without, to create the appropriate atmosphere and conditions for the realization of these destructive scenarios.
As for what is the interest of these forces and what will they benefit, I think that the answer is for the most part self-evident, and perhaps we need some investigation and scrutiny in the remaining part. However, regardless of this obvious part or that remaining, and regardless of who are the supporting forces, internally and externally, and who are the supported forces, the result is the same: there will be no victor or winner, the loss will pervade everyone, and whoever thinks that he will decide the other party By a knockout, relying on the support he receives, he is delusional and lives indifferent. The biggest loser is the country and the Sudanese people. Once again, we repeat what we have been saying a lot. The crisis situation of the country screams at us with two choices:
* Either start now, not tomorrow, with determination and seriousness to end the state of polarization and immediately begin completing the tasks of the transition to reclaim the homeland, or the flood. Those with the first option must move in all directions and look for each other to gather and forget, or postpone, their differences and political and intellectual contradictions, and to agree on how to make the transitional period a success and save the country. Regardless of the intentions of each of the parties, and whether what it declares of the points of disagreement with the other party is in fact consistent with its intentions and goals or not, the issues of conflict appearing on the surface can be agreed upon.
* The only issue that cannot be accepted, and cannot even be discussed at all, or even just sitting with those who raise it or raise it, directly or indirectly, is the attempt to portray the matter as if the December 2018 revolution was a mistake, or was made by mere young activists in politics who do not They understand its paths.
* On the other hand, we acknowledge and affirm that political disputes and conflicts are not annoying, as they are natural and expected, and often bring healthy results if they are well managed, but the annoying limit is anger. These conflicts are reduced to vulgarity and decadence, in addition to the prevailing dispute and conflict over the seat of power. On the details of the citizen’s life, including livelihood, health, security and safety.
* There is no way out of this crisis except by the involvement of the forces of freedom and change, resistance committees, political forces, armed movements and civil forces in a dialogue to come up with an agreed declaration of principles, derived from the theses of these forces, including the theses of the forces of freedom and change as well as the charter for establishing the authority of the people and the revolutionary charter for the authority of the people submitted by Resistance committees, and any other charters, then agreeing on a new constitutional document governing the transitional period, the essence of which is a complete break with the partnership formula that was in place and proved its failure, and that the transitional sovereign and executive authorities should be completely in the hands of civil competencies without any partisan or regional quotas, and we were in articles Previous we have made detailed proposals in this regard.
* As for calling for and organizing this dialogue and assuming the role of mediator, facilitator and facilitator for it, there is nothing better than the tripartite mechanism, UNITAMS, the African Union and IGAD, with political support from the Troika countries and the Group of Friends of Sudan.
