The president of the Sudanese Football Association issued a decision approving the petitions submitted by a number of local federations and clubs approving their participation in the general league competition for this season 2022-2023, on an exceptional basis.
This came, according to the media office, signed by the Secretary-General of the Union, Magdi Shams El-Din.
The circular stated that the move came in appreciation of the circumstances mentioned in the petitions.
The President of the General Football Association, Mutassim Jaafar, said that, as of the next season, participation will be limited to federations that have completed the competition from two full cycles.
